Raspberries in Buttercream - Front Page!

I hadn't even had time to blog about this one and zap! Front Page! I went to the treasury ("Raspberries in Buttercream") to get the links and I saw many more comments and some that mentioned the Front Page! I flipped over and there it was, still on the Front Page. It's very exciting for me! Congratulations to all of the featured artists! Thanks to ThreadRare for including my Cranberry Whirl Pendant in her wonderful treasury! Check out her loverly hair accessories! She also is participating in Hearts for Haiti, which I wrote about earlier.

Sorbet and Sunshine

I woke this morning to find that my Sun Light Catcher was featured in a truly lovely treasury. "Sorbet and Sunshine" was curated by leapinggazelle. This treasury features glass in soft shades of blue, pink, and pale amber. It is obvious that a lot of thought went in to this curation. The photos , selections,, and arrangement are really beautiful! leaping gazelle is a photographer (please check out her shop)and her curation reflects this. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this one!

2 New Treasuries!

I have two pieces in new Treasuries today. First, "Amber Gold", curated by GreatSupplies. This is a really elegant, warm collection. This collection featured my Amber Lantern. I like GreatSupplies' "Heart Lobster Clasp." Perfect for Valentine's Day! The next Treasury is "Interupt." This has a theme of red, aqua, and cream, interrupted with a rasberry wool yarn in the center. It's a very clever concept! My Harlequin Lantern was featured. This was curated by AutumnReed. Here are her beautiful Lantern Earrings. You know I love lanterns! Thanks to both of you!

Heart Light

This Treasury, "Heart Light" was made to draw attention to the need for relief and compassion for the people of Haiti. One of my Heart Light Catchers was included. loveartworks was the curator (check out her lovely whimsical ceramics). Two of the items featured, shown in their own pic above, are part of a collective shop HeartsforHaiti that is donating 100% percentage of their sales (minus Etsy and PayPal fees) to Doctors without Borders, to help bring more medical relief to Haiti. Please visit the collective shop and view the over 270 items available for sale to help this cause (and for all of the details).

I enjoy peeking inside studios and reading about their creative processes. Mary's paintings are fabulous studies of color and light (2 of my favorite subjects).
