Two Etsy Treasuries in One Week!

Yeah! My Heart Fused Light Catcher was featured in another Etsy Treasury. This Treasury features lovely Spring items in red and purple. It was curated by bijouxbu (thank you!). Click on her name to view her elegant beaded earrings. Click on the main picture to view the details of the light catcher. Enjoy!

Taxes!

Ugghhh! I've put it off long enough! Today I'll start on them. Hopefully I'll be able to work a little around gathering my tax info. Wonderful DH actually does the taxes. I just need to organize my figures for it. I did make a very cool new candle holder today. Check back to see pics, hopefully tomorrow!

Preschool Fundraiser

Last night my husband and I went to a fundraiser for my son's school, The New Greenbrier Preschool. He loves it there and we have been thrilled with it. We try to do whatever we can to support the school. I'm on the Board of Directors (although sometimes I not sure how useful I am there). I also donated one of my necklaces for the Silent Auction. There was a bidding war over it! I was so pleased. Not only did that make me feel great, but it brought in more than I hoped from my donation. That necklace has found it's home, but here's a picture and link to another in the same line. My son also sold his first painting. We purchased his Flower Painting for $10. It will be framed, hung, and enjoyed for many years.

Wish Whimsies!

I've designed this beautiful Wish Whimsy to add a sparkle of light and color to your garden. It is the perfect decoration for your potted plant, or to place directly in the ground. This Wish Whimsy features a centerpiece of reddish-orange glass accented with a drak red, orange, and yellow millefiori flower, fused onto a clear base. I make the Wish Whimsies in many different colors and styles.

My first Blog...

I was never able to keep a diary, but I'll see if this is different! I imagine this will be heavy on pics and lite on words, as I now have no idea what to type.

If you like fused glass, jewelry, candle holders or garden decor, then check back. I'll list my new items as they are posted on Etsy. I'll also post my Festival Schedule. Hopefully I'll eventually feature other artists!
