I'm a little slow on this. I'm trying to switch to a new email account (pain) and working on a wholesale order (pleasure). I need an assistant! OK, I'll settle for school starting in 2 weeks... I know I'm not the only Mom who can't wait! Here they are. Enjoy!

Today via the forums I found out that Etsy has made the Treasuries searchable. This is wonderful! No more wondering where hits on an item may have come from. I simply type "wishartglass" in to the search bar and voila! It shows any treasuries that I am in. Interestingly, there were 5 treasuries that I had no knowledge of! Here they are, better late than never:

My team members at Etsy Project Embrace are prolific and talented treasury makers. I'm completely overdue on one of my own. The treasury ideas just don't seem to flow as easily for me. Here are two new gems from two lovely team members:
"transition," curated by Kathleencavalaro, includes my brand new Orange Crush Float Necklace, which I am entering in my teams Weekly Challenge.
This week's challenge is "Ice Cream Truck." I already had the piece made and titled. I thought it would fit the challenge, so I poked my nose in the freezer and found some rainbow sherbet to photograph with the necklace. I know an Orange Crush float would have been more approprite, but sherbet was what I had! My son loves eating props. :)

I am so pleased to have my items included in so many creative collections. Browse these new treasuries for wonderful items:
Karen from MysticWynd has featured one of my pieces on her Blog! She's doing a "Color Wheel" series. She features items that exemplify the chosen color of the day. Today's is Red/Orange. My Lava Lantern was picked as an example. This is such a great idea. I'm following her blog to see the next featured colors and items! Check it out here!

What a day! My husband came home early this afternoon to have lunch. My son and I had already eaten and were in the back swimming. After about half an hour, my husband came out to say "bye" and that he was returning to work. About 10 minutes after that I went to get something inside. The door was locked! Then I tried the front door and checked all of the ground floor windows. We were locked out! Thank goodness we keep the sunscreen on the patio and that I hadn't locked my car and keep water inside! He finally came home around 4:30. My son and I were bored and hiding in the shade. Even with sunscreen we can't be out all day. Now we're relieved to be in safe and sound. My husband is cooking dinner as we speak... :)
Anyway, my items are in 4 new treasuries! I would have blogged about this earlier, but you know, something came up. Enjoy these wonderful collections:
"Some of my Favorite Things," curated by kheilartworks (a very valued customer - thank you!), includes my Kiku Flower Suncatcher.
"Variety IS the Spice of Life," curated by NightSkyJewelry, includes my Cool Colors Light Catcher Set.
I'm so excited to report that Ellie from AngelEllie has featured my Red Lantern on her blog "My Little Chickadee's Blog!" Please visit her wonderful blog and her Etsy shop for beautiful absorbent travertine tile coasters, save the date magnets, ornaments & wedding favors!
Thanks for the feature Ellie!

I've just returned from a 2 week road trip to Colorado with my husband, 5 year old son, and our dog. I'm happy to report that we still love each other! I'll write more about the trip in a later post. I just couldn't wait to get my Etsy shop up again. Freshly inspired by the beautiful canyons we visited, I decided to try my hand at curating a treasury. I chose to include many of my new friends on the Etsy Project Embrace team. They have been so kind to include me in many of theirs. Here is "Canyon Embrace"...enjoy!
7/16/2010 Update: This treasury is a finalist in the Project Embrace treasury challenge. You can view the other entries here:
